The handle is crafted from natural walnut wood and finished to preserve its natural character, rather than being sealed with heavy synthetic coatings such as polyurethane. As a result, slight fiber raising or a subtle roughness may appear with regular use, particularly after washing and drying. These minor changes are not considered defects. If desired, the surface can be gently smoothed using fine grit sandpaper for simple at home care.
