{"product_id":"nabeshima-celadon-porcelain-teapot","title":"Nabeshima Celadon Porcelain Teapot","description":"\u003cp\u003eFor roughly 250 years during the Edo period, Nabeshima celadon was produced exclusively for the shogunate and imperial court — never sold, never traded, accessible only as tribute. Nabeshima Kosen Kiln works in Okawachiyama, the same village where those domain kilns stood, using celadon glaze stone still mined from the surrounding hills and ground using the same stamp mill process unchanged since that era. This teapot is made from that material. The glaze settles into a pale blue-green that shifts with the light — cooler and more restrained than celadon produced elsewhere in Japan. The body is full and rounded, the lid fitting cleanly at the rim, the spout low and direct. An arched overhead handle in natural wood keeps the hand clear of the body's heat. A teapot that carries the weight of a serious craft history without announcing it.
